Day 3 Ayers Rock area,

Friday, our start was slow this morning especially after the night out. Too much rich food tested us out but it was worth it.
Prue wrote some cards and washed sheets early.
I had agreed to do a massage, in the morning, on Prue which she needed. Our neighbours, Tim and Casey, also booked a massage each for after lunch. As I finished the massages for the day another fellow came and asked if he and his wife could book in but as we are moving, I had to say find me at Kings Canyon,
I did a bike ride around lunch time which took me out to the Connelan Airport. It looks very much like any regional airport and is quite busy not only with scheduled flights but is also the home to the helicopters doing the scenic flights around here. They seem to be especially busy in the morning and afternoon as the colours are the best and most changeable.
After the afternoon massages, we went to the shopping precinct for a coffee and to get a few items from the supermarket.
On our return, we collected our chairs and table as well as wine and nibbles. We took all this up to the lookout in the caravan park to be joined by our neighbours, Tim, Casey and little Taj, as well as Peter and Jane that we had dined with on the “Sounds of Silence”. All of us leave here to go to other locations so it was out last Uluru sunset.
After the sun disappeared we all returned to our locations. We had a nice piece of frozen salmon. After dinner, a bit of packing up was done in preparation for departure.

So our last day at Ayers Rock resort comes to an end. I am not sure if we will have Internet coverage at Kings Canyon so it may be a few days before we post again, We shall see.
